HOW IT'S MADE

Step 1:

Post-industrial waste is collected from local garment factories.

Step 2:

This waste is ground down into fibers and stored in bales.

Step 3:

These fibers are then re-spun into yarn.

Step 4:

This yarn is then warped into thread.

Step 5:

These threads are then woven into the fabric used to make your bag.

Step 6:

The cottonseed leftover from this process is blended with other natural waste (including coffee pulp, garden clippings and cardboard) to create a rich compost. Coffee growers in the highlands of Guatemala collect this compost to use as a natural fertilizer to feed their coffee crops. Who would have thought upcycled denim could help grow the world's finest coffee?
